Dr. Mehran Khorsandi

Dr. Khorsandi is a highly respected leader in coronary and endovascular interventions with over 30 years of experience in cardiovascular and vascular procedures, consistently achieving one of the highest success rates in the field. A member of the Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute, Dr. Khorsandi has been instrumental in training interventional cardiologists for decades.

With four board certifications, his specialized expertise includes high-risk coronary angioplasty, particularly in complex bifurcation disease. As an innovator, he holds more than 50 U.S. and international patents in endovascular treatments for coronary and vascular conditions. Dr. Khorsandi has also published extensively in leading scientific journals, including The Journal of Clinical Investigation, Atherosclerosis Research, Circulation, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and Eurointervention.

Dr. Khorsandi is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
